The monastery of Sant Pau del Kam has a complicated history. Once he was home Benedictine monks. In 977 he was completely destroyed and abandoned by the community of monks. In 1096 he began his recovery, but in the year 1114, he was again almost destroyed, and then restored it again. In the 14th century was built a new city wall, and the monastery became part of the city. In 1842, the territory of the monastery was a school, and from 1855 to 1890, it housed military barracks.

In the tympanum is a picture of Christ on the throne, surrounded by humble apostles Peter and Paul.
