The monastery of Sant Pau del Kam is a beautiful and ancient place, to get to you, walking on the Barcelona street Nou de al-Rambla. This building in the Romanesque style is the only one in Barcelona-preserved building in this style. This monastery is indeed a very ancient place, one of the oldest buildings of Barcelona, the exact date of its creation is unknown, but some historians call 911. The monastery of Sant Pau del Kam has a complicated history. Once he was home Benedictine monks. In 977 he was completely destroyed and abandoned by the community of monks. In 1096 he began his recovery, but in the year 1114, he was again almost destroyed, and then restored it again.
