In the North side of Holy spirit monastery was built a wooden Church, consecrated in the name of Paraskeva-Friday – ancient patroness extensive borovich edge. The Church of Paraskevi of Iconium became the main temple of Borovichi Pyatnitsky churchyard. During 1796 in chapel was fitted to the throne, and she was consecrated as a Church in honor of St. Paraskeva – this date was the date of the founding of the Church, which has survived to modern times. The architectural component of the Church even today retains elements of the old chapel. There is rarely conducted worship services, but always the service was carried out in the feast of Agia Paraskevi, as well as on all Fridays starting ninth Friday from Easter to the Elias Friday. At the gate of the temple always sat a monk, after all, to go to the Holy source, it was necessary to enter the territory of the Church.

In those days, the Church stood on a high Foundation, built of red brick. In the Central part of the roof is light octagonal drum, equipped Polukarov dome. Outside the Church and the belfry was decorated with beautiful icons painted on boards.
