Tower on Black Mountain, previously known as Telstra Tower is a telecommunication tower located on the top of Black Mountain in the Australian capital Canberra. One of the most notable attractions of the city with a height of 195, 2 meters offers visitors wonderful panoramic views of Canberra and its surrounding area from one of three viewpoints or from the rotating restaurant.

In April 1970 the Minister of communications of Australia asked the construction Department to conduct survey work for the construction of the Black Mountain tower, which could provide communication services and to serve as a meeting place for residents and visitors alike. The tower was built to replace the radio relay station on the Red hills and the television antenna which existed on the Black Mountain.
