The aquarium "Le Navi" in the resort town of Cattolica on the Adriatic coast of Italy is an innovative way to explore marine life and their natural environment. This is also a great way to learn a lot about the appearance of the seas on our planet and their evolution until the present day. To do this, just hit the road on one of the many educational paths "Le Navi".

Today at the aquarium of Cattolica is home to over 400 marine animals, brought here from all over the world in order to show the visitors of the Park all the richness and diversity of the underwater Kingdom of the Earth. In 2010, the year in "Le Navi" appeared chameleons and penguins, and in the summer of 2011 year – a tiny caimans and most playful mammals – otters. These animals became the decoration of the Yellow trail to the aquarium.

Tour of "Le Navi" begins in the Elevator that virtual "lowers" visitors to 3200 meters under the water, where the so-called Temporary laboratory of evolution. It is possible to learn about the history of the earth since the Big Bang and the beginning of life and until the formation of the Mediterranean sea. And at the end of the tour visitors will see... sharks! It's a real symbol of how marine life can adapt to changing environmental conditions.

Shark is perhaps the main attraction of the Oceanarium. Them there are about 60 species, belonging to 16 species, from the tiny Mediterranean to the huge South African bull shark. All they swim in the large pool with a capacity of 700 thousand liters in the company of a small sea fish. Sharks are usually considered one of the most dangerous marine predators, but they also are a species in danger of extinction due to mass production of their fins, which are used in Oriental cuisine. From 2003, the aquarium "Le Navi" implements the project "face to Face with sharks": any visitor can dive into the pool with these amazing creatures to dispel the myth of their excessive aggressiveness. The "face" of the project, which involved about 20 Cougar, is a 3-metre shark Brigid. If you wish, you can participate in shark feeding.

A few years ago in "Le Navi" also earned a "Kindergarten for turtles" - protected area, which in conditions of complete rest contains small Cherepashka. They are cared for biologists and veterinarians aquarium. After the turtles grow up, they are released into the wild.
