Among the many beaches of the Greek island of Chios separate attention deserves the magnificent sandy beach of Elinda. It is located on the West coast of the island about 25 km from Chios town (Chora) in a secluded, well protected from winds by the Bay, surrounded by the pine-covered mountains.

Elinda – fugitive-beach and, above all, attracted by its spectacular scenery and the crystal clear waters of the Aegean sea. This is the perfect place for relaxing in peace and far away from civilization in harmony with nature.

Close to the beach Elinda is an abandoned medieval settlement of Anavatos.
