The little Mermaid statue is one of the top attractions of Copenhagen. The monument depicts the heroine of the fairy tale of Hans Christian Andersen. The statue is located at the entrance to Copenhagen harbour waterfront on Langelinie. August 23, 1913 in Copenhagen established a bronze statue of the little Mermaid, its height is 1, 25 m, weight about 175 lbs. by the Author of the monument was a Danish sculptor Edward Eriksen.
