Tropical zoo in Randers is one of the most unique zoos in Denmark, where the assembled representatives of the fauna and flora from different countries and continents. The zoo is located near the city centre. The total area of the domed areas of the Park is 3600 sq. m.

The official opening of two pavilions Tropical zoo took place on 13 June 1996. In 2003 was opened to visitors pavilion of South Africa, and in 2005 - marine aquarium.

Today it is one of the most popular and most visited zoos in Denmark. It has more than 200 representatives of the fauna of the different continents and more than 350 species of plants. In the zoo you can discover various species of birds, mammals, reptiles, insects that were brought from Europe, Asia, North and South America, Africa, Australia. Also in the Park is a terrarium "Garden snake" and the hull of the sunken frigate of the eighteenth century, which contains an aquarium with tropical fish.

Within Tropical zoo is a cafe where you can taste delicious dishes of local cuisine, pastries, tea, coffee, soft drinks. Attract the attention of tourists and souvenir shops with its abundance of magnets, soft toys, calendars, postcards, lighters with the attributes of the zoo. In the Park there is a Playground, where children can get acquainted with its inhabitants friendly.

Today Tropical zoo is one of Northern Europe's largest cultural and entertainment center stay. Every year the Park is visited by large number of tourists from all over the world.
