The Connaught (the most common use is the abbreviation CP) is the business, commercial and financial center of the capital of India – new Delhi and NCR. Its main square is surrounded by shops, stores, offices of various companies. There are head offices of several of the largest firms in the country. The area was named in honour of the Duke of Connectcore – Prince Arthur, third son of Queen Victoria. But the official name of this place, Rajiv Chowk, named one of the Prime Ministers of India, the late Rajiv Gandhi.
