Parz lake - a small lake located in Tavush region at an altitude of 1334 meters above sea level. The lake lies in Dilijan Park in a shallow valley surrounded by forests. The total length of the lake, having an oblong shape, is 385 m, width - about 85 m and the depth is more than 5 m.

The water in the lake Parz greenish color, very clear and clean. Trees growing right near the shoreline, and bowed to the lake mighty trees reflected in the water. Parz lake is filled with water from mountain springs.

Around the lake there is a huge number of guest houses and cosy restaurants, shrouded in a dense forest. This place is loved by tourists because there can be great to relax, recharge your positive energy, to take a fascinating journey on horseback, to visit the entertainment complex. On the territory of the lake is open several rental places where you can rent a catamaran or a boat to enjoy the lake and the local amenities. Also along the banks of Parsa equipped with several cozy gazebos and designated barbecue areas.

According to one legend associated with this lake, died here a couple of newlyweds. From that time for every young couple has become a tradition to come to the lake Parz after the wedding ceremony to commemorate the victims of the newlyweds.

Today the lake Parz is one of the main natural attractions of the city of Dilijan.
