The name Emerald Pool translates to Emerald lake. It is in a National Park Morne Trois Piton Morne Trois National Park), which is a UNESCO world heritage site, as a unique Park of the Eastern Caribbean. This is one of the most beautiful places in Dominica – crystal-clear water of the lake and a small twelve-meter waterfall protected on all sides volcanic rock formations and spectacular rainforest.

To reach the lake by car from the city of Roseau on the bus. The lake is a five minute walk from the road connecting castle Bruce and the Canefield. Castle Bruce is a village in the Eastern part of the island, and the Canefield is a small town North of Roseau, there is a cultural centre and the airport. Part of the path from the road you have to walk along a comfortable path in a rain forest that is easy to get lost if you go off the trail. Along the way you will meet several streams with arched bridges. Halfway through the program, you will see the observation deck, which offers a wonderful top view of Emerald lake.

You can swim in the lake, the water is always cool and crystal clear. The sun's rays, penetrating the input and refracting in it – make emerald lake surface. Emerald lake is a pristine wilderness, so here the various films are removed, and the couple often come here for the wedding.
