Concert hall Chaliapin in Essentuki is the biggest concert hall in the North Caucasus. Opened in October 1980 hall is located in the heart of the city-resort on the Theatre square. Quite a long time it was called Touring theatre. In June 2003, the building received its current name.

The concert hall has a glorious history. The first concert was held here on may 2, 1981, with the participation of the famous comic Duo of a people's artist of the USSR E. Berezin and Y. Tymoshenko (Plug and Tarapunka). From that time on the stage began to make the best of singers, stars of Opera and ballet, creative teams, and conducted various national and international forums and seminars.

Bright hall, wide staircase, elegant wall mosaic – all this makes the concert hall decoration of the city. The chief architect of the theatre was made by V. Turchaninov. In concert, the complex includes two halls: a large capacity of 1500 seats and a small – 96 seats. Both rooms are equipped with comfortable armchairs.

The Great hall has a high technical level, so it may make all the teams, stars of domestic and foreign music, performed concerts all directions, it is possible to carry out sophisticated productions.The real highlight of the scene is a 12-metre turning circle and a 17-metre ring, capable of the most daring Director's plans.

In November 2011, in the foyer of Essentuki concert hall was erected the largest in the South of the Russian Federation the body with limitless possibilities. This unique tool was brought from Germany.

Today the concert hall Chaliapin – one of the main places for tourists and residents. Famous choreographer Yuri Grigorovich evaluated the theatre as one of the best concert halls of Russia.
