The main entrance to the Medical Park of Yessentuki adorns the oldest stone building of the resort - Gallery source No. 17. The material for the construction of the building were brought from Alyonushka gorge and mount Mashuk. The author of the project were invited to Yessentuki M. S. Vorontsov architect S. Upton. Completion of drinking gallery dated 1858

One-story gallery building was designed in the English Gothic style with Moorish elements and was designed for walking and relaxing in the Spa while taking water from mineral springs. The front part of the building resembled an Elizabethan gallery located in Pyatigorsk. Bottling of mineral water produced in the Eastern part of the gallery. After a while the gallery added a new building which housed the summer reading hall, a post office and a snack bar.

In 1873 from the Urals was brought and installed near the cast-iron openwork gallery pavilion, which was used as a summer of the pump source. Changed and the interior of the gallery: the niches were installed copies of antique sculptures - Flora, Fortune, Aphrodite, Amazon and Venus. In 1926, in the center of the gallery put the pump source No. 17. Water gallery today fulfills its main function, yet at the same time as one of the most beautiful galleries of its kind in the Caucasian Mineral Waters.
