The château du Brest – architectural-historical monument, whose construction began in the III century by the Romans and lasted almost until the seventeenth century, when the castle was fortified by the famous French engineer fortifier Marquis Sebastian Le Prêtre de Vauban.

The castle complex consists of seven towers, which are interconnected. Inside this stone ring is another fortress with underground casemates and a chapel.
