Nope Foca – a picturesque resort town on the Kassandra Peninsula (Chalkidiki). It is located on the North-Eastern coast of Kassandra, approximately 40 km South of Polygyros town and 80 km from Thessaloniki. The settlement was founded in 1922 by refugees from the village of Foca in Eastern Thrace. Actually hence its name, as "NEA Foca" is literally translated as "New Foca".

Today, NEA Foca - a popular resort. Magnificent beaches with crystal-clear waters of the Kassandra Gulf and picturesque surroundings, and a well-developed infrastructure attract thousands of holidaymakers. The choice of accommodation in NEA Foca is very diverse. Here there are plenty of comfortable hotels and apartments. You can also stay in the campground or rent a room. In the numerous taverns and restaurants you can relax and enjoy the traditional Greek cuisine. Special attention, of course, deserve fresh fish and seafood.

The sandy beach of NEA Foca well organized. If necessary, you can rent here and rent sun loungers and sun umbrellas, as well as to take showers. In the harbour of NEA Foca you can rent a boat and take a fascinating boat trip along the picturesque coast of the Kassandra Peninsula.

The main attractions of NEA Foca are beautifully preserved Byzantine tower, built in 1407, and the small chapel of St. Paul, an underground passage which leads to the cave to the Holy spring, where according to tradition the Apostle Paul secretly baptized believers.
