Near Konak square, the Archaeological Museum has a rich collection of antiquities found in the majority during the excavation of Pergamon. In the Museum courtyard you can see a number of amphorae, columns and capitals. On the ground floor is assembled marble statues of Poseidon, Demeter, Artemis, ancient sarcophagi. On the second floor are items of pottery and glass art, ceramics and objects of the bronze age.
A collection of the Ethnographic Museum located opposite the Archaeological, are items of folk art, among which Bergama carpets and Gordes, traditional costumes and fabrics, camel bridles, copper products. On the first floor of the Museum you can see the interiors of the Ottoman house, old pharmacy, printing.
