In the Central area of Kaliningrad, in a small square opposite the Drama theatre is a monument to the famous German playwright, historian, poet and humanist, Professor and philosopher Friedrich Schiller. The historical value of the monument is that it was installed November 10, 1910, in German Koenigsberg, as the author of a work of art is a famous German sculptor Stanislav Cower. The monument is a bronze figure in full growth on a high pedestal with a plaque that says the name of the poet in Russian and German languages and years of life.
