In the village Subych, near the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, is a very famous Rock monastery. The monastery became known in the early sixteenth century, but many historians say he existed in the XVI-XVIII centuries.
Here you can see a few dozen caves-cells, carved deep into the rock. Rock, where all the caves, you'll be over the river Dniester. This cave monastery is also called "little brother" Bakota monastery. In our time the cave was draped with rugs, paintings, embroidered by the hands of the parishioners, photos of ancient icons. Anyone here can pray.
The monastery is not very big and to see all its charms, will need to follow a very narrow path that descends with a 40-meter height down to the Dniester. It is worth noting that this road is quite hard: about 800 meters need to go very carefully, but in return for this complexity we see the magnificent view of the reservoir of the Dniester. On the way, you can also find the sources from which has pure cool water.
Everyone who has been to this place man, definitely want to come back here, and residents, accustomed to a large number of tourists, happy to welcome guests in the famous Rock monastery.
