Trinity Cathedral of the Nikolaev Klobukova monastery was built in 1664 – 1684, the Cathedral was constructed in two steps. First, in 1664 year, the place of a wooden Church built a stone Nicholas Church. His churchwardens were made by the landlords Ansimov. Later, he served as the chapel of Trinity congregational Church, built in 1671-1684.

Initially, the facades of the Church was completed with innovative features semicircular shape above the arch towered one Chapter. The chapel also had one Chapter. The South side was a tent-roofed belfry.

In the mid-18th century the Cathedral was reconstructed on the North side built a small side chapel of St. Nicholas with a sacristy and a semicircular apse to the West was located a long porch that stretched along the transverse axis with arched openings. She served as the Foundation for the bell tower, which was repeated in smaller proportions of the main octagon quadrangle. The porch was connected with the Central premise of the arch, which was enlarged in 1823. The Cathedral became the first in the city structure, made according to the "octagon on square". In 1929, bell removed the bells, the iconostasis was dismantled in 1931, the bell tower was dismantled. Before our time architectural monument came with significant losses and in a highly distorted form.
