One of the cultural attractions of the city of Khabarovsk is the Khabarovsk regional theatre of drama and Comedy.

In 1933, a local city Council decided to organize inpatient drama theatre. This was allocated to the club of the people's Commissariat of internal Affairs. The equipment for the stage and technical workshops brought from Moscow. The first artistic Director of the theatre took he doesn P., chief Director F. Bocharov, and senior artist M. Ciborowski.
