Toy Museum "fairy Tale" in the Polish town of Kudowa-zdrój is a magical place where children can discover the joy and wonder of exploring the toys their parents, grandparents and adults to plunge into a forgotten world of his childhood.
The Museum was opened on 12 December 2002. On the area of 300 sq. m presents a collection consisting of several thousand toys from different periods – from antiquity to the 80-ies of the 20th century. Here you can see the old home theaters, Christmas toys, toys from famous movies, dolls and their wardrobes, metal toys. The exhibition presents school supplies and mini-classes, as well as interesting and unusual toys.
The toy is a great invention, which was at the disposal of each of us in childhood. They always reflect the era in which it was created: fashion, lifestyle, technology, historical events. By how varied toys, you can track the development of human culture.
The toy Museum in Kudowa-zdrój takes part in numerous visiting exhibitions: in 2005 in the Museum of the Klodzko at the exhibition "the Christmas toy" in 2006 in the castle Ksiaz at the exhibition "Toys young aristocrats", in 2011 participated in the exhibition "Toys my grandparents".
In July 2010, the Museum opened a branch in Krynica-zdrój, where they passed the collection have never been exhibited toys.
