Fuschl am see - Austria a village located in the state of Salzburg on the banks of lake Fuschl. Fuschl am see is located between Salzburg and bad Ischl.
The first historical mention of this area belongs to the 8th century. In the 12th century Fuschl-am-Zee was registered as Fuschilsee. In the 13th century began the construction of the castle Wartenfels near Fuschl am see. Now only ruins of the castle.
