One of the most famous attractions of the city is the house-Museum of the world-famous Opera singer Solomia Krushelnytska, which is located on the same street at number 23.
Musical memorial S. Krushelnytska Museum is in the former home of the singer, which she acquired in 1903 for his family. Constantly living in Viareggio (Italy), singer home, Lviv, returned only in August 1939, Later the building was transferred to state ownership, Salome left four rooms where she lived with her sister Anna until his death (1939-1952).
The decision on creation of the Museum was taken in early 1979 After a long renovation and restoration of the premises was exhibited in the exposition of the Museum, and in October 1989, held its Grand opening, although the restoration work lasted another year and a half. In 1991, the memorial began its activity as "Lviv literary-memorial Museum of Ivan Franko", and in 1995, the Museum received the status of independent state institutions. The founders of the Museum are Odarka Bandrivska and niece of S. Krushelnytska.
Musical memorial Museum of S. Krushelnytska always happy to welcome visitors every day except Tuesday. A tour of the Museum is a journey into the past, into an artistic world of S. Krushelnytska. It consists of seven, decorated in the style of the early twentieth century, exhibition halls. Here presented to your attention more than 15 thousand different exhibits, such as: program of concerts, original photographs, personal belongings of the singer, posters, printed music, portraits and pieces of costumes, and lots of materials that are associated with other well-known Ukrainian musicians, singers and composers.
