Mountain Arat is a potentially active volcano located on the Philippine island of Luzon. His height – 1026 meters. So far there have been no eruptions. Arat is considered a mystical mountain, the dwelling place of the legendary wizard of aring of Sinukuan or, as it is called, Mariang of Sinukuan.

The volcano is located in the agricultural region in the heart of the Central plains of Luzon. The southern part of the mountain belongs to the municipality Arayat Pampanga province, North – in the municipality Magalang the same province. 10 miles to the West lies the Angeles city, and the former U.S. military base Clark.
