Kjeragbolten, or “Stone-pea” in translation from Norwegian is stuck between two rocks at the height of m huge stone.

To see this hanging in a mountain gorge since ancient times cobblestone can absolutely anyone. This does not require any special training and equipment. The vast number of tourists travelling around Lysefjord, aims not only to look unapproachable famous Norwegian mountains, but be sure to get to this “miracle of nature”. This ascent is a 2, 5 – 3 hours of walking on difficult terrain in one direction and the same back.

At a height of 500 meters above the Lysefjord is “eagle's nest”, a small café with a viewing platform, which overlooks the road with its u hairpin bends leading down to the town Lysebotn. However, it is opened only in the summer.

There is paid Parking for tourists, there is an information booth with Scripture routes and other conditions.
