Museum of mining, Geology and Speleology is located on the territory Beslanskogo gypsum plant in Arzamaskin area. In operating mine, at a depth of seventy meters, there are seven halls with expositions. To visit the Museum (only in groups) the tourists are issued a helmet, a jacket and a flashlight, because mine is always cold (the temperature does not rise above +5 degrees) and humid.

In the first room under the protection of the gypsum mistress mountains a unique collection of samples of rocks and minerals mined in Russia and the CIS countries (more than 300 copies). Later in the deep subsurface is an underground lake with a small waterfall, shungite relaxation room, a hall with an exhibition of folk crafts and other items related to mining, surrounded by rock paintings of the Paleolithic period, dolls, replicas of fantastic characters and dinosaurs from the lost world. The exposition devoted to the history of mining includes mining equipment, machine for loading stone, samples of horse carts and trolleys with stones. In one of the halls built the stereoscopes to view three-dimensional pictures of various caves. At the end of the tour the most daring offer to visit the "cave of fear".

It is a spectacular and very unusual Museum. For young children (in the Museum there is an age limit) above the mine is a small zoo with llamas, ostriches, donkeys, lynx, foxes and camels. Also at the plant, you can see the exhibition hall of national art crafts of the region.
