Small Church dedicated to St. Julia installed at the entrance to the city cemetery. It is located on the corner of Kiev and Przemyslowo streets. This Church is considered one of the oldest sacral buildings not only Pardubice, but also the entire region. It was built up to 1295, when it was first mentioned in documents that have come down to our times. The temple was part of the Dominican monastery on the territory of which, according to some historians, parents were buried famous churchman Arnošt of Pardubice.

In 1421 during the Hussite wars the Church was considerably damaged. From him was in ruins. Local residents within ninety subsequent years there was no time to rebuild the Church. Only in 1512 it was rebuilt in the Gothic style.

In the period from 1729 by 1754 the years the temple premises occupied by the local court officials that did not care about the safety of the interior and Church utensils. This is why the Church was in desperate need of repair, was made only in 1857.

In the beginning of XX century reconstruction of the Church was invited by a famous local architect B. Dvorak who found ancient paintings on the facade under a thick layer of plaster.

The latter is currently the renovation of the Church took place in 2007-2008.

In 1754, to the Church of St. Julia was attached stone bell tower, which has not survived to our days. Instead, after the First world war built a wooden tower, still standing on the cemetery. Naturally, it was reconstructed in the 80-ies of XX century, strengthened the walls and changed the shape of the roof.
