Johann Strauss monument was opened July 12, 2003 in Pavlovsk Park. The history of the Park is inextricably linked with the name "waltz King". In the mid-19th century by the project of A. of ... was built music pavilion, it was also called "Kurhaus" or lounge. Strauss monument was donated by the Republic of Austria in honor of 300 anniversary of St. Petersburg. The idea of a memorial image of Strauss belongs to Svetlana Kuji, the actress of theatre of musical Comedy, the leading soloist of the best "Bat" of the theatre, the best of Adele.
