Bulgarian Christians newly built on the site of a monastery, but this time in the form of a small building with a stone Church. In the late 19th century instead of the old temple was built single-aisled Basilica with a bell tower and a semi-cylindrical apse.

Studies have found that its age is about 500 years old, making it the oldest on the Balkan Peninsula. Many years ago the vine was in 70-80 times and covered the entire yard of the monastery.
