One of Perm's attractions awaiting visitors to the city a few steps from the train station. The garden of stones, or square of the 250th anniversary of Perm, located on the forecourt since 1973 and officially a branch of the Museum under the open sky, geological faculty of the Perm state University. The Museum exposition consists of a unique collection of rocks formed in the territory of the Perm region and meet only in the Urals. Stones of various shapes and sculptures, carved out of rocks laid out on the manicured lawns along the Park paths with benches.

The same year the Park was established near high triangular stele with bas-reliefs of the work of K. M. Sobakina. From 2010 to 2011, the rock garden was completely renovated, adding some beautiful landscape and architectural objects. Especially popular with visitors is an art object "Perm gate", which is a twelve-meter structure made of spruce logs. The "gate" of the artist Nikolay Polissky made in the form of large letters "P" and reminiscent of a triumphal arch, the output of which are the four cardinal directions. Attracts attention and another original composition of the garden – a sculpture of a scarab made of car tires on a metal frame. Art object "scarab" with a four-meter ball of the artist Madakulam Narymbetova and is (according to the Creator) ancient symbol of the sun and rebirth.

Permian rock garden is not just a collection of unique and original objects, but also a favorite place for townspeople. The Park has two fountains and cozy place, designed by the best landscape designers in the city.
