As you know, Prague is a city closely associated with the name of the artist Alphonse Mucha. Unsurprisingly, there is a Museum, open on a formal basis with a few cultural foundations. The opening of the Museum has attracted the descendants of the great master of art Nouveau, and represented almost all the exhibits are in his collection.
Alphonse Mucha is famous for its unique posters, book illustrations and posters, written with extraordinary care. He has also developed a collection of jewelry design Wallpaper and so on.
Mucha Museum, opened in 1998, is located in Carnicom Palace in the heart of the city – just around the corner from Wenceslas square, on Panska street. The Museum is small, takes only a few rooms, the latter of which is arranged the room, where without a break show the film about the great artist, famed Prague and became one of its brands. The exhibition can be viewed both independently and as part of guided tours, which are conducted in different languages, including Russian. If you do not want to walk along after the guide, but I wonder what is represented in the Museum, then at the checkout you can buy a small exhibit guide, although, in principle, the names of the paintings are duplicated in English, so the problems with perception should not be.
Museum rooms are adapted for people with disabilities.
Mucha Museum organizes a variety of traveling exhibitions throughout the world, which shows part of his extensive collection.
