Unique urban Park in the town of Sandanski is a real magnet for tourists who prefer a quiet, relaxing holiday surrounded by nature. It is located at the end of the main pedestrian street of Macedonia. The Park opened in 1981, is the old name of the town – Sveti vrach. He is the only Park in Bulgaria with sandy paths and, along with Sea garden in Varna, is one of the largest in the country.

City Park in Sandanski has become home to over a hundred species of trees and one hundred and fifty types of flowers. Here grow slender cedars and sequoias, old sycamores, willows, pine, pomegranate, Fig, geranium, different types of roses etc. Some of the instances are rare. Along the tracks there are benches.

In addition to natural attractions, the Park offers a number of facilities for leisure activities. For young visitors are specially designed playgrounds with swings and slides. In the summer theatre regularly hosts performances, and every year there are performances of art song "Pirin folk" and " Balkan youth festival "Mladosti on Balkanite". In addition, the Park is a stadium, an outdoor swimming pool and a small artificial lake, there is a wooden gazebo. This is the perfect place to relax with friends or family.
