On the West coast of the Greek island of Skopelos is a small resort town Elias, also known as Neo Klima. It is located in a wonderfully picturesque location amidst dense pine forests around 18-19 km from the homonymous capital of the island.

The Elios is a very young town, built in 1981. After 1965 as a result of strong earthquake destroyed the village of Klima, the majority of its inhabitants remained without a roof over their head and were forced to leave their homes. Subsequently, a significant portion of the population destroyed Klima settled in Elysea. Actually, there are three times the name of Eleios – Neo Klima, which translated literally means "New climate".

Today, Elias is one of the popular resort towns of the island of Skopelos. Stunning natural landscapes, crystal-clear waters of the Aegean sea and well-developed tourist infrastructure every year attract in Eleios increasing number of tourists. Today in Elysea are many good hotels and apartments, but the book should still take care in advance. Local restaurants and taverns are famous for a good selection of fresh seafood.

Special attention deserve the magnificent sandy and pebble beaches of Elysea and its environs. You will find here as well-organized beaches with sun beds, sun umbrellas, showers and a variety of fun and absolutely untouched by civilization, but striking in its beauty. Excellent beach Govolo with fine Golden sand is considered one of the best beaches on the island.

In a small picturesque harbour of Elysea you can rent a boat and take a fascinating boat trip along the Western coast of Skopelos.
