Loutraki is a small coastal town in the northwestern part of the Greek island of Skopelos. Loutraki is the second largest port of the island.

Today Loutraki is a very popular tourist centre of Skopelos with excellent infrastructure. There is a good selection of hotels and comfortable apartments, as well as cozy restaurants and cafes (most of which is concentrated near the waterfront, where you can enjoy delicious local cuisine. You should definitely visit a traditional Greek village Glossa, the harbour which is actually the port of Loutraki. Glossa is located at an altitude of 200-250 m above sea level on the slopes overlooking the picturesque Loutraki hill, approximately 30 minutes ' walk from the harbour. It is an authentic Greek Paradise with narrow cobbled streets, lovely parks, lush colors and stone houses in this traditional local architectural style and incredibly relaxing atmosphere.

Among the attractions of Loutraki and its environs it is worth noting the remains of the ancient citadel Selinus and ruins of Roman baths (4th century BC) and the temple of Athena (5th century BC). Of particular interest is the monastery of the Archangels and the charming Church of Agias Ioannis Kastri, which entered the history of world cinema as the place where they filmed scenes from the famous film "Mama MIA".

You can also take a fascinating tour of the picturesque Greek island of Skiathos. It is located in the vicinity of the island of Skopelos, directly opposite the harbour of Loutraki. It only takes 15-20 minutes.
