Loutraki is a small coastal town in the northwestern part of the Greek island of Skopelos. Loutraki is the second largest port of the island.
Today Loutraki is a very popular tourist centre of Skopelos with excellent infrastructure. Of particular interest is the monastery of the Archangels and the charming Church of Agias Ioannis Kastri, which entered the history of world cinema as the place where they filmed scenes from the famous film "Mama MIA".
You can also take a fascinating tour of the picturesque Greek island of Skiathos. It is located in the vicinity of the island of Skopelos, directly opposite the harbour of Loutraki. It only takes 15-20 minutes.
