Museum-estate of D. I. Mendeleev "Babloo is located in Solnechnogorsk district, near the town of Klin. D. I. Mendeleev acquired a small estate in Boblove in the mid 60-ies of the XIX century. Here he spent the summer months until 1906. According to his plan in the estate was built a laboratory for chemical experiments, and in a small field near the house, Dmitri Ivanovich conducted experiments with fertilizers.

It was visited by K. A. Timiryazev, A. S. Popov, A. I. Kuindzhi, I. I. Shishkin, to monitor the flight scientist on a balloon in 1887 came I. E. Repin. Here, in Boblove, hosted the wedding of the daughter of Mendeleev – Lyubov Dmitrievna with Alexander Block.

The estate remained one of the buildings of the early nineteenth century, poplar, lilac and elm avenues, and three small old Park, one of which was developed with the participation of artists of A. I. Kuindzhi and N. And.Yaroshenko. The Museum houses documents and personal belongings of D. I. Mendeleev and his family, a collection of objects of peasant life, library on the history of Russian physico-chemical society.
