About two hundred of the houses are unique monuments of architecture, built in the era of national revival of Bulgaria. Painted, decorated with carved wooden elements of the building, the cosy cobbled streets, fountains with spring water – all this will allow guests Zheravna to get acquainted with the spirit of this ancient city. There are house-museums of Roissy Chorbadzhi, Yordan Yovkov's book, Sava Filaretova, the community center "Unity" (the community center is typical for Bulgaria institution combines various forms of cultural-educational activities: language, music and dance schools, theatre, library, a social club, etc.). Many of them retained the typical atmosphere of the XIX century: presented to the vintage furniture, household, etc. Even hotels in Zheravna are not in modern concrete buildings and in renovated houses of the Bulgarian Revival period.
