Frohnleiten - Austrian city located in the Federal state of Styria, 25 km North of Graz, the capital of the region.

Frohnleiten started to develop actively in 1280 under Pfannberger. Close Frohnleiten were important trade route in Graz through Moore river there was a bridge on which fees are charged for smuggled goods. From-for unwillingness to pay tribute was designed route around the bridge, which took place between Leoben and Fronleichnam. In 1763 a fire destroyed most of the historic buildings in the city.

During the Second world war in Frohnleiten been gathered resistance fighters, where all the participants were sent to different camps.

Currently, the city established the woodworking industry, operates a factory for the production of cardboard Mayer-Board producer, working in aerospace and machine-building design Bureau.

In town there are 2 primary schools, secondary and music schools, and medical College. Open the emergency Department of the red cross where deliver patients from neighbouring municipalities (a total of 11 cadastral municipalities).

The main attractions Frohnleiten include the beautiful main square of the city with impressive historical buildings. Interesting to explore Servinski monastery and parish Church with the altar in Rococo style and frescoes by Joseph Adam von Melk. His murals can be seen in the Church. George in Andriake, near Frohnleiten. Also, there are well-equipped for Cycling paths along the most scenic places.
