National music and drama theatre of the Republic of Komi has existed since 1992. All of the twenty years of its existence, the theater has put about sixty performances. In the troupe of the theatre is part of the folklore-ethnographic ensemble under the name "Parma", which takes the Komi folk songs and playing traditional Komi instruments. All the performances at this theatre are placed only on the Komi language, for Russian spectators have simultaneous translation.

National music and drama theatre of the Republic of Komi is the winner of many festivals and competitions.
