Dzhendemski waterfalls are located in the Balkan mountains, known in Bulgaria Stara Planina, in the territory of the biosphere reserve South gendem.

In the biosphere reserve South gendem protected most remote places in the Balkan mountains. Flowing through the towering canyons in southern Jendema White river and Basovizza form numerous waterfalls, the height of which sometimes reaches 80 meters. To get to the canyons by barely visible trails, and the transition to full requires serious mountain climbing. Best scenery in South Jendema can be seen in the Central part of the reserve, separated from the rest of the country deep chasms.

The beginning of the reserve is on Candesco the river, on the flat valley situated between mount Botev mountain range and the Satchel, there agree several Hiking trails. At the bottom flows Derindere and several other threads.

Further along the route are Heiduscka gorges, waterfalls Dinovite and meadows. Next on Dandansoy the river you can see a series of waterfalls Croatia, Golemia gardeski, Miscite, Wide, Goat horn and dozens of smaller waterfalls that have no names. Then the river flows into the river biała, which in turn flows into the river Paschalska arising from the waterfall Rayskoto and river Basovizza. Most of these names were assigned to objects during the expedition Nikola Korchev, who has studied this area in the early sixties of the 20th century.
