Cableway Fjellheisen was officially opened in 1961 by the shipowner Anton Jacobsen. The cable car runs to this day since the beginning of the ski season in March and September and during the Christmas holidays.

With the rise of Fjellheisen to the observation deck mount Storsteinen located at an altitude of 420 m above sea level takes only 4 minutes. Having reached the goal, you capture the spirit of the fantastic local scenery: mountains, rivers, fjords, panorama city.

On the mountain there is a restaurant with delicious food, a children's Playground and a shop with Souvenirs.
