On Lenin Avenue, house 47 Tula is a popular Museum and exhibition center "Tula antiquities". The base of the center occurred in 1993 in one of the old manor houses, built in the early twentieth century. The purpose of the Museum was the protection, promotion, and study of historical monuments and archaeology of Tula and area.

Exhibition dedicated to the archaeology, built on the principle of temporary tape, and then divided by the fundamental periods of periodization. The first section of the Archaeological Museum dedicated to the stone age. It tells the true subjects of stone age tools and bones of mammoths, fragments of pottery; it is possible to trace the process by which it was manufacturing these stone objects and reconstruction of the main of arrows and made of stone axes.
The second section tells of the time of the predominance of bronze products, created on the territory of Tula region in the second Millennium B. C. There are genuine objects: weapons, tools, stucco, utensils, and some objects made of bronze, and the things of bronze production.
The third section is called "Early iron age and Slavic tribes" and talks about the settlement of the Finno-Ugric and Baltic tribes in the area of Tula region. Here is an opportunity to see the items of arms and labour, forged iron, and ornaments of glass and bronze and evidence of the first trade.

The exhibition entitled "the Secrets of Tula craftsmen" was opened in January 1999. The main idea of the exposition is to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the workshop Tula Dating 16-18 centuries. It is possible to participate in a truthful, historical Museum and a stylized project on medieval production.
The main objective of the interactive exhibition was to identify and display authentic objects the production of Tula craftsmen. Three thematic sections of the Museum exhibition represent a local craftsman house as living space, as blacksmith's and Potter's workshops.
