The lake is not self-twisted – one of the landmarks of the Ukrainian Carpathians, is situated at an altitude of 1750 meters and is located between the mountain Turkul and Ribs. The lake water is crystal clear, because she comes here because of the melting of ancient glaciers.

This place is striking in its beauty and savagery. Just imagine – around the lake are sharp and forbidding rocks, Large and Small Goats. However, the lake itself is located in a large valley, where dizzy from the fragrance of wild herbs, and to escape the heat in the shade of the Alpine pine trees. The lake depth is 1-1.5 m.

The locals worship this place and try not to make noise here. This is due to the legend that it was the lake of souls of all suicides. And if you throw a stone into the water, you can disturb the soul, which will appear on the sky as the black clouds. And then you are on the road will definitely catch the bad weather. There are, however, less terrible legends. For example, according to one of them swim in the lake, you not only look younger, but you will find happiness. So choose what to believe.

Another interesting fact: close to the lake there was a factory on processing of medicinal plants, however, as a result of the collapse of a factory literally razed and in its place formed another lake. And now among the thickets of Alpine pine you can find the remains of equipping the factory.
