Monrepos Park is located in the Northern part of the city. This is one of the most beautiful landscape parks in Europe. Here is a dense forest with trails sanctuaries, gray cliffs above the sea and crashing on them waves, headlands and caves, lakes and creeks, and small structures such as gazebos only complement nature.

More than 200 years Monrepos belonged to the barons Nicolai, who served the Fatherland in the fields of education, diplomacy, military Affairs, and religion.
