Science centre Copernicus Museum of science, located on the banks of the Vistula river in the centre of Warsaw. The permanent exhibition contains over 450 interactive exhibits that allow visitors to conduct their own scientific experiments and discover the laws of physics. The center is the largest facility of its kind in Poland and one of the most advanced in Europe. Research center was opened on 5 November 2010, and a year later took place the opening of a modern multimedia Planetarium. Later were created: chemical and physical laboratory.
The Museum building was designed by the young Polish architects. In an area of 22 thousand sq m, there are several thematic sections pertaining to different fields of knowledge: man and the environment, roots of civilization, the world in motion, a gallery for children. In the gallery "World in motion" every visitor can feel like a famous astronaut Neil Armstrong. In the section on man and the environment, you can test yourself and learn about the possibilities of his body. One of the most memorable exhibits in the Museum is an artificial poet who knows how to write poetry to order. Thanks to modern spherical screen and outstanding audio, the viewer has the sensation of total immersion in remote corners of the cosmos.
Research center has a place for experiments under the open sky, which is called "discovery Park". Here you can learn about the working principle of the acoustic mirror and watch scientific movies.
At the exit of the center is a shop where you can buy interesting Souvenirs: puzzles, science games for kids and adults.
