National dance theatre named after S. A. Zverev-kayl the wala is one of the cultural attractions in Yakutsk. The theatre contributes to the preservation and development of national and folk traditions of dance and other genres of art and culture of the Yakut people. National dance theatre was founded in 1992 on the basis of existing since 1980, the State dance ensemble of at Yakutsk state Philharmonic. In 1993 was founded the Orchestra of national instruments.
