In the village of Vosanibola Borisoglebsky district, Yaroslavl region there is a Church consecrated in honour of the Nativity of the blessed virgin. Originally in the village in the 17th century there were a Church in honour of the Nativity, which was built of wood and had five small domes. At the end of the 17th century it was replaced with a similar, but built of stone and feature a scaly wooden head; the Church had a miniature belfry, standing on a stone support pillars. In the late 1700s in the southern part from the Nativity Church was built of stone Trinity Church, which was rebuilt in 1797.
In early 1782 at Sheremetyevo P. B. built the current Church of the Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary, which had two spacious floors. The lower chapel was warm and consecrated in the name of Great Martyr Paraskeva.
The Church of the Nativity is among a small number of monuments of Yaroslavl region, which were built in the style of more modern Baroque. The temple consists of exposed along one axis of the Central temple, the semi-circular altar, the refectory room, porch and a vestibule. All Church volumes, except the porch, presented two storey. Located on two floors of the areas overlap with the help of the vaults. Summer Church gambrel ends coated with multiple oval window openings; wedding carried out with five onion-shaped domes, located on octagonal drums. All the drums are deaf, except Central, which is made light. On the cover of the porch is two-tiered bell tower of a small size, which is crowned with a cupola. On two floors wall surfaces are divided with the help of the pilasters, and above them held projecting cornice, decorated with a rather large crackers. In summer the Church has a double-height square handled by a pair of projecting cornices; one of them is a semicircular pediment.
The external decoration of the temple is made so that it seems as if the three-storey temple. Winter and summer Church elaborately decorated with different sized window openings with different trims: in the summer the Church they come lockouttime pediments, and in the winter with a locking interception. In the period between 1791 and 1794 years summer the Church was painted by a group of serfs masters of count Sheremetev N.P. It is important to note that all paintings are very decorative, black and white figures and pathetic theatrical gestures. Some of the scenes can be seen as part of a single picture, in this case, the drawing frame which imitate wood surface, placed some pictures. In the main temple there are seven tiers, filled with paintings. A large number of stamps dedicated to the earthly life and deeds of Jesus Christ. On the wall by the West has 14 brands that are related to the earthly life of the prophets, the Apocalypse and the Holy Trinity. In light drum you can see the Almighty, but "the Beatitudes" are located in a light window openings. At the end of the altar there are the "Seven sacraments" and "new Testament Trinity" in oval medallions. In the Church is an image of the archangels seen on the slopes of the altar window openings. On one of the chancel walls depict "the Passion of the Christ". The arch of the room and the Western wall are occupied one of the outstanding compositions of Judgment, when the infernal abyss teeming with terrible devils, malicious green Satan, and the human soul is under the scale, equipped peasant bast.
Today in the Church of the Nativity of the blessed virgin Mary was preserved icons located in the iconostasis and dates from the 18th century. In winter the Church iconostasis, unfortunately, not survived. In the 1890s, the Church was again updated painting. Currently undergoing restoration.
