Trinity Church is located in the village of Vosanibola Borisoglebsky district, Yaroslavl region. The temple was built of stone, with five domes, three altars, bunk. Has two chapels: the first was consecrated in honor of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the second – in the name of great Martyr Paraskeva. In the construction of the Church took an active part count Nikolai Petrovich Sheremetev. For inspection of the building were invited to two masters: from Moscow and architect Karl Ivanovich Form and Alexey Mironov, serf architect of the graph. There is an assumption that one of these fine craftsmen have designed Trinity Church.
Trinity Church in Vosanibola – unique. She is one of the few in the surrounding villages of Borisoglebsky district and even Rostov temples that have two floors: on the lower winter warm temple, and on the top where the ancient wooden staircase, framed with carved railings, were fine, with a high dome summer Church. The description tells that the decoration of this temple estate of the Sheremetev was distinguished by luxury and wealth.
In the upper tier of the building, despite the serious damage, kept their beautiful frescoes, made in a rare pictorial style, which were executed by the artists Sheremetev in 91-94-ies of the XVIII century. In the painting of the Church was attended by prominent serf masters brothers Argunova. Such wall painting in the nineteenth century there were only four temples of the former Rostov region, two of them in demesne Sheremetev.
In the first tier of the temple remained the most revered icon of St. Paraskeva in a silver Riza (weight 9 pounds). Old-timers recalled that the image of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa resembled the features of Praskovya Ivanovna Zhemchugova, who was the wife of count N. P. Sheremetev.
In the summer of 1929, the Trinity Church was closed. At the end of October, 1934, the Church lost bells. After the formation of the farm there was a granary. Earlier, in 1922, the financial Department of the Borisoglebsk district Executive Committee held the seizure of Church valuables were taken away gold and silver vestments with icons and other Church utensils. Father Fyodor Poroikov (the last priest of the temple), who opposed the closure osantowski churches, in 1936, were repressed. In 2000 he was glorified among the saints.
In this time was begun the restoration of the temple. In 2005, the first tier of Trinity Church was held the ceremony of consecration of the new chapel in the name of the new martyrs and Confessors of Russia.
