On the coast of the limfjord in Northern Jutland, is one of the largest and most ancient cities of Denmark – Aalborg. Currently AAB is a major seaport and commercial centre of the country. Local residents of your city called "little Paris of the North".

The main attraction, which boasts Aalborg is the city hall, located on the square in Gammel Torv, where in the middle ages was conducted town meetings, fairs, public execution.

Unfortunately, the town hall, which Jens Bang was showing language, have not survived. His successor was the construction in the late Baroque style, which history dates back to 1762. This two-story yellow stone Palace with white columns, wavy Baroque Gables and ornaments made of Sandstone. Above the door is placed a bust of king Frederick V and his motto "God alone is worthy of Glory".

Earlier in the town Hall was hosted bureaucracy, today the building is used for official receptions, a variety of exhibitions and city cultural events. Near the town hall is the Gothic Cathedral of the Holy Rudolf, unique mansion of Jens Bang, the monastery of the Holy spirit and the Historical Museum.

The town hall is a popular attraction in Denmark, which during the year is visited by a huge number of tourists from all over the world.
