Near the Fort Qaitbey there is a small Hydrobiological Museum. 50 aquariums of the Museum of live fish, molluscs and corals caught in the Nile, the Mediterranean and Red seas. The biggest attraction of the Museum was the skeleton of a 17-metre whale, thrown in 1936 on the East coast of Alexandria.
