In the most Central part of Alytus has found its place in the famous City garden (eng. City Garden), which is famous for its roses. Sal began planting trees, starting from the thirties of the twentieth century. Up to the present day came built in Voennoe time the fountain with a small pool. It is here that once bloomed beautiful lilies and goldfish swam. Near the fountain you can see a particularly rare in Lithuania, the European yew, and in the spring pleasing to the eye Japanese white Magnolia, so brightly blooming near the pre-war fountain. In total, in the City garden has more than 16 kinds of various trees and shrubs.

The famous City garden smoothly into the Spa Park and common area that connects these two famous and popular places, bears the name of the area name of the angel of Freedom. On this square stands a statue of the "angel of Freedom", originally planned to build another 1928 – at a time when we celebrated 10 years of independence of Lithuania. The author of this sculpture is the Lithuanian sculptor Antanas Aleksandravicius. After the strike of lightning in 1934 the statue was broken, but it was restored again in 1991.

The Park was established in 1931 in natural pine natural forest. In the Park there are many beautiful Hiking paths, which are moderately decorated with various shape and dimensions of the sculpture, and leading to the famous lake Dailide already formed so long ago in the ancient bed of the river Nemunas. In the lake Dailide in the summer the fountains are playing, and not far from them are created and equipped beach with wooden bridges. In addition, there is a beautiful, boat dock, as well as a lifeline.

Throughout the Park stretches famous health Trail, which runs along the railway embankment, created in the 19th century. Health trail is the most favorite and popular place not only for cyclists, but I for walkers.

Secret trails Resort Park lead directly to the Valley of songs. Now this place as more than a hundred years ago, is always performed holiday songs and dances. During the celebration of the 400 anniversary of the Magdeburg rights to the city of Alytus, which is celebrated since 1981, previously existing railway embankment was created sculpture item name "Lily Flower", built by a famous sculptor Vladas Jancauskas.

The embankment in the valley appears before the eyes of the amazing views of the city of Alytus, which rises on the other side of the Nemunas.
