The Kirillo-Salmagorski monastery is abolished monastery. It is located to the South-East of the village Mariinskaya Kargopol district, Arkhangelsk region between the lakes of Lexposure and Monastery. Now from the monastery there are only ruins.

In 1932, after the arrest of monks and clergy, the Kirillo-Salmagorski the monastery was forever abolished, wooden monastic buildings demolished, including the Church of Dormition. In 2005, Bishop of Arkhangelsk and Kholmogory Tikhon was consecrated near the place where the monastery stood, erected a cross in memory of St. Cyril Chernogorskogo.
